Sustainability
FTS Dyers are certified to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), and Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS), certified by Control Union CUC – 899185. This allows our customers to uphold certification standards throughout the supply chain when working with us. These globally recognised certifications reinforce our commitment to animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
Animal Welfare – The five freedoms are upheld at all times, in line with the global standards and best practice for animal care.
Land Management – Sustainable land management practices are implanted on farms to protect soil health, biodiversity, and native species.
Chain of Custody – Certification guarantees the fibre’s traceability, maintaining its integrity from farm to finished product.
Committed to cleaner, sustainable operations
FTS Dyers is certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), ensuring organic integrity from fibre to finished product. Our ISO 9001 certification reflects our commitment to quality management, efficiency, and sustainability.
We have also introduced bio-based, biodegradable chemistry into bulk production, reducing reliance on fossil fuel-based chemicals.
So far, six synthetic-based chemicals have been replaced, marking the first steps toward a cleaner, lower-impact approach to textile dyeing—one we are dedicated to expanding.
